Google seperti yang kita ketahui sedang giat-giatnya mengembangkan algoritma untuk menghasilkan pencarian web yang kontekstual dan berkualitas (seperti pada proyek Google Panda).
Dan akhirnya mereka memutuskan untuk menghilangkan hasil pencarian untuk domain .co.cc dari mesin pencari yang mereka kelola!
Alasan yang mereka sampaikan adalah dikarenakan kebanyakan domain .co.cc digunakan untuk keperluan spam dan website yang berkualitas rendah.
Sebagaimana yang disampaikan oleh salah seorang official Google, JohnMu :
As he mentions there, “if we see a very large fraction of sites on a specific freehost be spammy or low-quality, we do reserve the right to take action on the freehost as a whole.” Taking action like this is not really something new, and it is something that we may do elsewhere at Google as well (eg as mentioned on with regards to malware).
If you feel that your particular site is in line with our Webmaster Guidelines, I would recommend submitting a reconsideration request. Additionally, if you use a subdomain on a widely used domain name, and feel that your subdomain provider is not up to par with regards to preventing and handling abuse quickly – be it webspam, phishing, or malware – you may wish to look into ways of remedying that.

This article reminds me of a Google webspam point of policy that I’ve been meaning to discuss for a long time. First, a definition: a “freehost” is a domain that will let anyone register a site on that domain. There’s lots and lots of high-quality freehosts out there (wordpress.com comes to mind).
We absolutely do try to be granular, but I wanted to mention that if we see a very large fraction of sites on a specific freehost be spammy or low-quality, we do reserve the right to take action on the freehost as a whole. I think most savvy search/SEO folks would understand this completely, but I figure it’s better to over-communicate than under-communicate.
Well, buat anda yang masih menggunakan subdomain .co.cc sebaiknya segera menggunakan domain yang lain.
